Terms of Service
Effective 12 October 2026 · Vault Workspace LLC
If you read this page in another language, the translation is for convenience only; the English version is the binding one.
IN SHORT
You own what you upload and, as far as the law allows, the results Vault makes for you, including for commercial and client work.
Credits pay for AI work. Failed jobs are refunded in credits automatically. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.
AI results are visualisations, not construction documents. Check them before relying on them, and label AI or virtually staged images where the law or a listing site requires it.
1. Who we are and this agreement
Vault Workspace ("Vault", "we", "us") is operated by Vault Workspace LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. You can reach us at support@vaultworkspace.com.
These Terms are a contract between you and us for using the Vault Workspace website, web app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, or by using the Service, you agree to them, together with our Acceptable Use Policy and Refund Policy. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. If you use Vault for a company or studio, you confirm you may bind it to these Terms, and "you" includes that organisation. Some sections apply differently to consumers (people acting for purposes outside their trade or profession); where a law gives consumers rights that cannot be waived, nothing here takes those rights away.
2. The service
Vault is a browser-based set of AI tools for visualising architecture, interiors and landscapes. Depending on your plan and credits, it lets you turn screenshots or exports from CAD, BIM or 3D software, sketches and photos into rendered images; edit, restyle, stage and upscale images; generate textures, moodboards, presentation documents and short videos; organise projects; share results with clients; and give instructions to the Vault Assistant in plain language.
The Vault Assistant is an AI system, not a person. It reads your messages, decides which tool to use and runs it for you. It asks you to confirm before larger jobs (currently those costing more than 50 credits), and always shows the price before you confirm. You are responsible for the instructions you give it.
Some features may be labelled beta or new. They may change or be withdrawn, and may be less reliable than the rest of the Service.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date. We send important notices there.
- Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account, including actions taken by apps you connect to it.
- Accounts are personal. Don’t share one login between several people, or resell access, unless we agree in writing.
- One free account per person. Creating extra accounts to collect free credits is not allowed.
- Tell us straight away at support@vaultworkspace.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Plans, credits and payment
Credits. Most AI actions cost credits. The price of each action is shown in the app before you start it, and current plans and prices are on our pricing section. If a job fails on our side, its credits are returned to your balance automatically. Credits are a prepaid right to use the Service. They have no cash value, are not money or a currency, can't be transferred or sold, and can't be exchanged for cash except where the Refund Policy or the law says so.
Free plan. New accounts receive a free first render and a starting allowance of credits, as described on the pricing page. We may change or end free allowances for future sign-ups.
Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Plans are priced per month: a monthly plan adds its credits each month, and a plan billed for a longer period (for example a year) adds one month of credits for every month paid, at the start of that period. Unused credits stay in your balance while your plan is active. If your paid plan ends, you move to the Free plan: credits from top-up packs stay in your account, and remaining plan credits above the Free plan allowance may be removed.
Top-ups. Credit packs are one-off purchases. Their credits don't expire while your account is open.
Payment. Payments are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, which sells to you, charges your payment method, issues invoices and collects sales tax or VAT. Their buyer terms also apply to the payment. Prices may include or exclude tax depending on where you are; the checkout shows the final amount.
Price changes. We may change prices or plan allowances. For an existing subscription we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
Chargebacks. If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may suspend the account and remove credits bought with that payment until the matter is resolved. Please contact us first; most billing problems are quick to fix.
5. Cancelling, withdrawal and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time from Settings → Billing & Usage. It stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and then won't renew. Refunds, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU, EEA and UK, are explained in our Refund Policy.
When you buy, you ask us to make your credits available immediately. If you're a consumer in the EU, EEA, UK, or another country that gives consumers a cooling-off period for online purchases (for example Brazil or Turkey), you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days: you get a full refund if you haven't used any credits from it, or a refund minus the value of the credits you used (their share of the price you paid). You confirm this request at checkout.
6. Your content
"Your content" means everything you upload or type into Vault: images, drawings, models, screenshots, reference pictures, instructions, project details, messages and files.
- You keep all rights you have in your content. We claim no ownership of it.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content, and to send it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only to provide and secure the Service for you (for example to create renders, show your files, and send share links you create). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a short time in backups.
- We don't use your content or results to train AI models, and we don't sell it.
- You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to upload your content and let us process it as described, including permission from clients and from any identifiable people shown in your images.
- If your content contains other people's personal data (for example clients or people in photos), you decide how it's used and we process it on your behalf to provide the Service. You're responsible for having a lawful basis and informing those people where required. Section 6A applies to that processing.
6A. Data processing terms (GDPR Article 28)
Where we process personal data on your behalf as a processor (personal data contained in your content), these terms apply and form part of our agreement:
- Subject matter and duration: providing the Service to you, for as long as you use it and until the data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Nature and purpose: storing, displaying and transforming images and text with AI tools, sharing them as you instruct, and support.
- Types of data and data subjects: whatever personal data your content contains, for example images of people or homes, names and contact details of your clients or colleagues.
- We process the data only on your documented instructions (your use of the Service and these Terms), unless the law requires otherwise, in which case we tell you unless the law forbids it.
- Everyone who processes the data for us is bound by confidentiality.
- We apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy (section 8).
- You give general authorisation for the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy (section 5). We impose equivalent data protection obligations on them and will announce new sub-processors by updating that list at least 14 days in advance; you may object, and if we can't resolve it, end your use of the Service.
- We help you respond to data subject requests and to meet your security, breach-notification and impact-assessment obligations, taking into account the information available to us.
- We notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your content.
- When you delete content or your account, we delete the personal data in it (and backups on their normal cycle), unless the law requires us to keep it.
- We make available the information needed to demonstrate compliance with Article 28 and allow reasonable audits, normally by answering written questions; on-site audits by agreement and at your cost.
- Transfers outside the EEA are covered by the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy (section 6).
7. AI results
Use and ownership. As between you and us, and as far as the law allows, you own the images, videos and other results Vault generates from your content ("results"), and you may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial and client work. We assign to you any rights we may have in them. In some countries purely AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright, and similar inputs can produce similar results for other users, so we can't promise that a result is unique or that you can stop others from using something similar.
Accuracy. AI can make mistakes. It may change details, invent objects or text, or render proportions, materials, light or scale inaccurately, even when asked to keep the design exactly. Results are visualisations for communication and presentation. They are not drawings, specifications, measurements, engineering or compliance documents, and must not be relied on for construction, safety, cost or legal decisions. Have qualified professionals check anything you will build or sell from.
Labelling. Don't present AI results as photographs of something that exists if that could mislead someone. In particular, follow the rules of your market and listing sites when you use virtually staged or AI-edited images of real property, which often require a clear label such as "virtually staged". Where the law requires AI-generated or AI-manipulated images to be disclosed, you're responsible for disclosing it when you publish them. Images you download from Vault carry a machine-readable "AI-generated" label in their metadata; don't remove it to mislead anyone.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no illegal, sexual, hateful or infringing content; no deceptive images of real people; no attacks on, scraping of or abuse of the Service; and no attempts to get around credits, limits or security.
9. Sharing, clients and connected apps
- Share links. Anyone who has a share link can see what it shows, without an account, until you turn it off with "Stop sharing" (next to the link, or in Settings → Shared links). Only share links with people you trust to see that content.
- Client portal and invites. When you invite a client to a project, they can see the project content you make available to them. You're responsible for who you invite and for having their permission to email them.
- Connected AI apps. If you connect another AI assistant or app to your Vault account, it acts with your permissions: it can see your projects and files and start jobs that spend your credits, within the limits shown when you approve it. You can disconnect it at any time. Their use of your data is governed by their own terms.
10. Third-party services
Vault relies on specialist providers for hosting, AI models, payments, email and support (listed in our Privacy Policy). We choose them carefully but don't control them, and a problem on their side can affect the Service. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep Vault fast and available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time, or that a given AI model or feature will stay available. We may update, improve, replace or remove features. If we remove a feature that is a significant part of a paid plan you're on, we'll tell you in advance, and if you're a consumer you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused part of that period.
Please keep your own copies of important files. You can download your results at any time while your account is open.
11A. Sanctions and export rules
You may not use Vault if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions by the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom, or if you are on a sanctions list of any of them, or act for such a person. We may refuse or end service where needed to comply with sanctions and export laws.
12. Suspension and closing accounts
You can stop using Vault at any time and delete your account yourself in Settings → Delete account (this also cancels your subscription), or ask us by emailing support@vaultworkspace.com from your account address.
We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, creates a legal or security risk, involves fraud or a payment reversal, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable and lawful, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond first. If we close your account without you being at fault, we'll refund the unused paid credits from your current subscription period and from top-up packs.
When an account is closed, we delete your content as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example 7, 14 to 19) survive.
13. Our platform
Vault's software, design, brand, prompts, workflows and documentation belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active; they don't give you any other rights in it. Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service, except where the law expressly allows it. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
14. No warranty
Apart from what these Terms expressly promise, and to the extent the law allows, the Service and all results are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability. If you're a consumer, you also have legal rights (for example to digital content and services that conform to the contract) that these Terms don't limit.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or data, or for costs arising from building, buying, selling or deciding anything based on AI results.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in that period and (b) 100 US dollars.
If you're a consumer in Australia, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law; for a major failure you're entitled to cancel and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. Similar non-excludable rights in New Zealand, the UK and elsewhere also apply.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or a consumer's mandatory statutory rights.
16. Indemnity (business users)
If you use Vault for business, you will defend and compensate us against third-party claims, and related reasonable costs, arising from your content, from how you use results, or from your breach of these Terms or the law. This section does not apply to consumers.
16A. Notices, decisions and appeals
Anyone can report content on Vault they believe is illegal or breaks our rules, as described in the Acceptable Use Policy. If we remove content or restrict your account, we tell you what we did and why (unless the law or safety prevents it), including whether automated tools were involved, and you can appeal by replying within 6 months; a person reviews every appeal. Users in the EU can also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or go to court. Our single point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act is support@vaultworkspace.com (English or Romanian).
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. For changes that materially affect you, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect (sooner only where the law or security requires it). If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change applies; continuing to use Vault afterwards means you accept the new Terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
18. Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first. Most issues can be solved quickly by email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction, except as follows. If you're a consumer living in the EU, EEA, UK or another country whose law protects consumers in this way, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country. If you're a consumer anywhere else, this clause doesn't take away any right your local law gives you that can't be changed by contract.
19. General
- These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t waived it.
- You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service, and will tell you if we do; your rights won’t be reduced as a result.
- We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- These Terms are written in English. Translations shown on the site are for convenience; if there is a difference, the English version applies.
